Dennis Griffin and Guest Co-Host, Donna Pendergast, will talk with Sheryl McCollum, Director of the Cold Case Investigative Research Institute about the 1981 unsolved murder of Effie Hall in Atlanta.
Little details are known about the case, but McCollum, with the assistance of her students, are trying to piece together every bit of evidence available to help the family of Effie Hall find justice.

Crime Wire, Effie Hall, Cold CaseEffie Hall was a single mother and college student at Clark Atlanta University and was murdered on January 20, 1981. It’s said she was found by a roommate with a gunshot wound to the chest which exited from the back. At the time of her murder, Effie is reported to have had several roommates, however, only 2 of the roommate names are known at this time. One of her roommates had tried unsuccessfully to reach her by phone, returned to the apartment and found Effie Hall dead on the floor, the telephone off the hook.
The family and Sheryl McCollum are reaching out through social media channels to try and gather more information about Effie Hall and her murder. Someone knows what happened, who shot Effie, and why, and the cold case needs all clues in order to move forward towards justice.  A page on Facebook has been created to bring more awareness to the case:  CLICK HERE to keep up with any new information.
