Listen LIVE:   Crime Wire Investigates

Missing Maura Murray

The disappearance of Maura Murray, a 21 year old nursing student at the University of Massachusetts who vanished after a single car accident on February 9, 2004 in Haverhill, NH. Local and State Police and a team of private investigators from the New Hampshire League of Investigators (NHLI) have pursued hundreds of leads in their efforts to locate Maura Murray.

John Healy, a retired Lieutenant with the NH State Police, and past president of the NHLI, is the lead private investigator in the case, and will join the Crime Wire Team to discuss the status of his team’s investigation of this perplexing mystery set in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

The Leiby Kletzky Murder

The recent gruesome killing and dismemberment of 8 year Leiby Kletzky shocked the tight-knit Hasidic community in Borough Park, in part because it is one of the safest sections of New York City and because the man under arrest for the crime is himself an Orthodox Jew.

The Crime Wire Team will review and analyze the puzzling circumstances of this horrible act. What went wrong, and how can such an atrocity be prevented in the future?
